Dyrii allows you to organize your entries into customizable tags. There is no limit to how many tags you can create or how many tags you can associate with one post/entry.
The iOS app allows you to add tags to an entry from the editor screen or the post detail screen.
To add a tag from Editor screen, click on the Add tag toolbar icon. Then from the tag popup screen, you can select from existing list of tags or add a new tag by typing the new tag text in the search text field.
The search text field helps find an existing tag if available or will give you an option to create a new tag as indicated in the screenshot below.
Once a new tag is associated, it will appear either on the Editor toolbar or on the detail page as indicated in the screenshot below.
Unassociating a tag from an associated post/entry is also quite similar. To do this, you need to click on the link which displays the list of tags and then uncheck the ones you want to detach from the popup screen.
To rename or delete an existing tag, you need to use the Tag manager that resides under Settings/Manage Data/Edit Tags section. This tag manager will allow you to do following edits to existing tags:
- Rename (Edit)
There is also an option to associate tags in bulk using the Bulk option that resides in Timeline view and Today view. To access bulk action, long press on any one of the entry and then select the Bulk Action and then select tag to invoke this bulk tagging function.
Associating tags with entry on Mac works the same way as iOS. From the Editor, click on the "Add Tags" link. The popup menu will show you list of existing tags you could associate or you can use the search text field to add a new tag as indicated in the screenshot below.
The Mac app also contains a tag manager which can be accessed by clicking the Tags menu from the Sidebar. Using this section, you can edit existing tags or add new ones.
