I'm curious how the display of checkin data could be improved? In Day One, it's encouraged to choose a nearby location for virtually every entry. Many of my entries were made at work, so I would select that as the location, even though it technically wasn't a "checkin" so much as just the place where the entry was written.
Swarm has redesigned their app to be more of a personal location history, and I'm wondering if Dyrii could adopt a similar approach, to be a sort of private Foursquare. Swarm has a timeline showing the day in a light gray box, and entries for checkins under that day. Dyrii displays a header for the month and then the entries all underneath it. I'm wondering if this can at least be updated to show the date and time that a checkin occurred? Also, would it be possible to add statistical information to the entry when you tap it? So, instead of pulling up the Entry, maybe it can show stats on the *location*. Like, Cracker Barrel. You've been here 13 times, the last time you were here was April 4, 2016. It's been 494 days since your last visit." And perhaps automagically create a collage from any past images taken at that location?
In any case, it seems like Checkins could be more distinctly displayed, especially on the Mac. There should at least be an icon noting that the entry is a checkin.
